We ship orders only from Monday to Friday, with the exception of the freshest (ricotta) which are shipped only on Monday and Tuesday; this to ensure that they do not stand still in the various branches on weekends. Each product has its own description about it on the page itself.

Each shipment takes 48/72 hours to arrive at its destination throughout Italy, barring certain unforeseen events that could lengthen delivery times (Christmas and Easter periods where times lengthen considerably up to 7 days, bad weather, COVID 19, courier delays ( multi-package), absence of the addressee, momentary out of stock, goods that require special preparation, etc.).
As far as foreign countries are concerned, however, delivery times can vary from 4 to 7 working days.

The cash on delivery costs an extra 4 euros and ABSOLUTELY cannot be refused, as it is a food product, according to the law on online purchases. Ricotta is made with 100% pasteurized sheep's milk.

The sac a pochè of ricotta, vacuum-packed and then blast chilled to -40° before departure, is placed in our isothermal SicilyBoxes only on the day of shipment, kept at a controlled temperature thanks to the ice gel inserted to maintain freshness throughout the journey, without ever interrupting the cold chain. Furthermore, ricotta has a percentage of sugar which acts as a natural preservative.

Our ricotta is blast chilled at a negative temperature of -40° and -20° at the core of the product, in order to preserve the organoleptic properties of the product and avoid the proliferation of bacteria. Furthermore, ricotta has a percentage of sugar which acts as a natural preservative, and also increases the shelf life of the product up to 7 days.

From the moment of departure, you have 9 days within which to consume everything.
